March 27, 2020, Kamloops, British Columbia – The newly activated YKAStrong campaign has launched online resources to deliver relevant and timely information and provide important and necessary tools for Kamloops businesses and residents to endure the COVID-19 crisis.
The campaign is spearheaded by Kamloops business leaders working collectively to produce a streamlined communications and engagement strategy addressing COVID-19 and the effects on business in Kamloops. The group is comprised of leaders representing the Kamloops Chamber of Commerce, the City of Kamloops, Kamloops Central Business Improvement Association (KCBIA), North Shore Business Improvement Association (NSBIA), Venture Kamloops, Community Futures – Thompson Country, Kamloops Airport and Tourism Kamloops.
Kamloops businesses and residents can now access streamlined official health announcements from all levels of government, employer and employee resources, funding information, industry updates and tools and training at www.YKAStrong.com. Content is updated regularly ensuring a one-stop location to support businesses needs.
Additionally, YKAStrong is live on Instagram, a platform that allows the group to share our community’s acts of kindness, resiliency, leadership and strength.
